| Every camper participates in hiking to some degree, learning to live comfortably and safely in the woods. We emphasize stewardship of our natural heritage and ecological relationships. We do this through such activities as cabin overnights; hikes to explore new areas or to identify birds or wildflowers; orienteering hikes; and two-or three-day backpacking trips in the wilderness areas of Caesars Head State Park or Pisgah National Forest. | |

Our property adjoins the Dupont State Forest which gives us access to over ninety miles of trails to explore. The Dupont State Forest is known for its beautiful waterfalls and brilliant vistas. |

Operations on National Forest
System Lands are authorized under Special Use Permit by the
Pisgah National Forest.
